    • Ambedkar Polytechnic (Hindi: अम्बेडकर पॉलिटेक्निक) is a Government Engineering College Located in Shakarpur, Delhi, India. It was established in 1986 under Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE), Government of Delhi. The institute is affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Delhi and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

      Named after B. R. Ambedkar, the institute is the biggest Polytechnic in Asia. It also maintains relations with accreditation bodies like Indian Society for Technical Education.

      Ambedkar Polytechnic offers full-time Diploma in Engineering courses in Instrumentation & Control, Digital Electronics, Medical Electronics, Computer Engineering and Information Technology Engineering.

      Till 2005 Mechanical Engineering was also a part of the courses studied at Ambedkar Polytechnic. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Construction Engineering which was offered by this Polytechnic has now been shifted to Aryabhat Polytechnic and Pusa Polytechnic respectively.
