    • Abdullah Gül University (AGU) is a state university, supported by a private foundation (AGUV), located in Kayseri, Turkey.

      The university, which was inaugurated in 2010, has 4 Schools offering 13 graduate and undergraduate programs. All courses at AGU are taught in English.

      AGU first opened its gates to students for the 2013-2014 academic year.

      Currently the university’s main location is Sümer Campus, which covers 280.000 m², but the university has also started the development of a second campus, Mimar Sinan Campus, which will be outside the city center and with a planned total area of 3000 acres.

      According to a report published on January 16, 2014 by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) on the « 2013 Student Selection and Placement System Candidates Preferences in Higher Education Programs », the Abdullah Gül University was the institution that was most requested by future candidates, based on student quota. The report determined that the new university, with its 4 Schools, 12 programs and 296 students to-date, was cited among the preferences of 21.534 high school graduates nationwide and as number one choice of 3.046 of these future students.
